At the beginning of the party, each child picked up a "cauldron" from Diagon Alley which was really a black gift bag. The bag is handy since there are quite a few items to carry around at the party. I stapled a "Honeydukes Coupon," PDF file here, to each cauldron, good for one free visit to Honeydukes Candy Shoppe.
Right before departure, our guests visited Honeydukes Candy Shop to pick up a few last party goodies to take home. We didn't make a big decorated area for Honeydukes, we just set out some big bowls and trays of different candies on a table.
Honeydukes Candy at our party:
- Chocolate Frogs - homemade, complete with Wizard Card
- Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans - Jelly Bellies or jelly beans in small labeled baggies
- Drobble's Best Blowing Gum - regular pink bubble gum or gumballs
- Ton-Tongue Toffee - toffee or caramels
